Activity Ideas

Design your own fashion line - make three signature pieces that you could sell in a market stall. You may like to include three items that are similar e.g. three shirts with different patterns, or maybe even an outfit, skirt shirt and scarf. Alternatively - draw three costumes for your favourite game hero. Be as imaginative as you can.
Design your own company. Think of a company name, what products you will sell and where you will sell from (online or in a shop, where will the shop be), what will your website name be? What would make your store extra exciting? How would you encourage people to shop at your store?
Have a look at Beattie's designs website and review her fashion designs for a newspaper article.
Create a mood board in a group of by collecting magazine or online photos/ clippings of clothes and patterns that you think look great. Include colours and pictures that make you feel a certain mood. Based on this moodboard, draw or create a T-Shirt you would like to wear.
