Activity Ideas

Investigate how robots help humans in everyday life. How many robotic appliances are there in your own home?
Have you ever tried to create your own robotics from lego or other materials? Try to create a simple robot from scratch.
Research on the internet the concept of mechatronics. Observe a remote control car - how does it work? Does it use lasers, radio waves to communicate instructions? Write your observations as a report.
Visit a factory that uses robotics to help produce products e.g. milk or bread
In teams design a robot that will help the elderly, or the very young perform everyday tasks.
